ដោយមើលទៅយាយចាស់គួរឲ្យអាណិត ខាងបុរស និងក្រុមគ្រួសារក៏ព្រម ប៉ុន្តែបុរសនោះថា ធ្វើកិច្ចសន្យាផ្ទាល់មាត់បានហើយ មិនបាច់ធ្វើកិច្ចសន្យាក្រដាសទេ ចាំដល់បង់គ្រប់ចំនួន សឹមទៅផ្ទេរកម្មសិទ្ធិនៅរដ្ឋអំណាចតែម្តង។ យាយចាស់យល់ព្រម រួចក៏បង់ប្រាក់ថ្លៃដីមួយម៉ែត្របួនជ្រុងឲ្យទៅម្ចាស់ដី។ ខាងម្ចាស់ដីបានវាស់ដីផ្នែកខាងមុខ និងខាងស្តាំនៃផ្ទះដែលមានដើមល្ហុងមួយដើមឲ្យយាយចាស់ ដោយដាក់ឈើបួនជាសម្គាល់ព្រំដី។ បន្ទាប់មក យាយចាស់បានចូលនៅក្រោមដើមល្ហុងនោះជាមួយនឹងឆ្កែ។ បីថ្ងៃក្រោយ យាយចាស់បង់ប្រាក់ថ្លៃមួយម៉ែត្របួនជ្រុងទៀត។ ម្ចាស់ដីក៏ពង្រីកបង្គោលព្រំដី។ យាយចាស់នោះទៀងពេលណាស់។ គ្រប់បីថ្ងៃ ដឹងតែបង់ប្រាក់ម្តង មិនដែលខកទេ។ ចំណែកម្ចាស់ដីក៏សប្បាយចិត្តដែរ ដោយពួកគេបានប្រាក់យកមកដោះស្រាយជីវភាពរបស់ពួកគេ។

ពីរថ្ងៃក្រោយមក អ្នកជិតខាងបានទៅរាយការណ៍ប្រាប់រដ្ឋអំណាច ថាពួកគេធុំក្លិនស្អុយចេញពីផ្ទះមួយនោះ។ ពេលរដ្ឋអំណាចទៅដល់ មានការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើលយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ពេលឃើញក្រុមគ្រួសារនោះស្លាប់ទាំងអស់ ហើយសភាពស្លាប់របស់ពួកគេគួរឲ្យខ្លាច និងព្រឺសម្បុរ ដោយពួកគេម្នាក់ៗដេកស្លាប់នៅលើគ្រែ, ខ្លួនប្រាណពណ៌ស្វាយតាំងពីក្បាលដល់ចុងជើង, សក់ជ្រុះទៅលើគ្រែ, ភ្នែកបើកក្រឡោត, មាត់ចំហធ្លុង និងម្រាមដៃម្រាមជើងឡើងរួញក្រញង់។
គ្មាននរណារកឃើញមូលហេតុស្លាប់របស់ក្រុមគ្រួសារនេះទេ ហើយក៏គ្មាននរណាដឹងថាមានរឿងអី្វកើតឡើងដែរ។
ដោយសារតែក្រុមគ្រួសារនេះគ្មានសាច់ញាតិបងប្អូនណាផ្សេង ដូច្នេះរដ្ឋអំណាចក៏ប្រគល់សពឲ្យទៅវត្តចាត់ចែងបូជា និងធ្វើបុណ្យតាមប្រពៃណី។
ក្រោយពីក្រុមគ្រួសារនោះស្លាប់ទៅ ដី និងផ្ទះរបស់ពួកគេត្រូវបានទុកចោល។ គ្មាននរណាហ៊ានចូលឬដើរកាត់ឡើយ ព្រោះតែការស្លាប់របស់ពួកគេចម្លែកខ្លាំងពេក។ មួយទៀត ជារៀងរាល់យប់ អ្នកជិតខាងតែងតែឮសូរសំឡេងស្រែកល្វើយៗចេញពីទីនោះថា៖

Story ‘Sell land to non-human’

In a town, there was a mother, a son, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren living in a house in a big land.
Due to the financial crisis, the son wanted to mortgage his land, but the bank refused because after checking, they found he could not afford to pay interest.
The son was very upset. He told his mother, “Probably we have to sell our land, but I don’t want to sell the whole, I want to sell it only half.”
“Whatever you want to do, do it. I won’t object,” mother said.
After getting permission from his mother, the son made a tag ‘Land for sale’ and hung it on the fence.
A month ago, there was no one to even ask for information.
The son was more desperate, but the mother came to encourage him:
“Angels will not block the way of a good person.”
A few days later, there was an old woman with a pack on shoulder and a dog coming to buy the land, but she said she could not pay the whole amount, she could only pay for a square meter, once, and in three days.
Because the old woman looked pitiful, the son and his family agreed with this deal, but the son said it was enough to make an oral contract, until the old woman paid full amount, then they would go to transfer ownership at the government bureau. The old woman agreed, then she paid the land owner for one square meter of land. The landowner measured the front and right side of the house with a papaya tree for the old woman by placing four sticks as a border marker. The old woman then went to live under the papaya tree with her dog. Three days later, the old woman paid for another square meter, and the landowner extended the boundary marker.
The old woman never missed payment. Every three days, she gave money for a square meter of land. The landowners were also happy because they could have money to support their livelihood.
Soon the old woman paid the full amount.
Suddenly, the son had a bad idea. He thought that the contract he made with the old grandmother was an oral contract, if he changed it, there would be no problem, because no one had heard about this from the beginning. On the other hand, this woman was very old and decaying; she had no children, she had only a dog, and that dog was old and emaciated. In short, she could not win over him.
After thinking that, the son refused to hand over the land to the old woman and evicted her from the land. His family members thought it was wrong, but they did not forbid him, they stood and watched him send away the old woman. As for the old woman, she did not say a word, just carried her pack and took her dog leaving that land.
Two days later, the neighbors reported to the authorities that they smelled a stench coming from the house. When the authorities arrived, they were shocked to find that the whole family was dead, and their condition was horrible with each of them lying dead on the bed, their bodies were dark purple from head to toe, their hairs fell out on the bed, their eyes bulge opened, their mouth wide unlocked, and their fingers and toes were wrinkled.
No one found the cause of their deaths and no one knew what had happened.
Since the family didn’t have other relatives, the authorities handed over the bodies to the pagoda for cremation and traditional rites.
After the family died, their land and home were abandoned. No one dared to enter or walk through because their death was so strange. Every night, the neighbors were reported to hear people shouting from inside that house, “Please come and get the land. I will give it to you.”
