Summary about Disney’s multiplane camera
Multi – more than one.

Camera – a device to record visual images.
The multiplane camera form was invented in the 1920s by Lotte Reiniger, a film director, and her husband Carl Koch, an art historian, film director, and writer. They were both German.
In the 1930s, Ub Iwerks, Disney’s director and animator, left to create his own studio, and he advanced the multiplane camera using salvaged parts of Chevrolet.
In 1937, William Garity developed a multiplane camera for Disney to use, and the first animated film that Disney produced using a multiplane camera was “Snow White and Seven Dwarfs.”
