មានខ្លាឃ្មុំមួយកំពុងតែរុញរទេះដឹកផ្លែទំពាំងបាយជូរ។

នៅកៀនផ្លូវ មានទន្សាយមួយកំពុងតែស្វែងរកចំណី។ វាបានឃើញខ្លាឃ្មុំដឹកផ្លែទំពាំងបាយជូរ។ វានឹកឃ្លានចង់ស៊ីទំពាំងបាយជូរ។ វាក៏រត់ទៅធ្វើពុតជាងាប់នៅកណ្តាលផ្លូវ។ ពេលខ្លាឃ្មុំមកដល់ ឃើញទន្សាយដេកនៅកណ្តាលផ្លូវដូច្នេះ គិតស្មានថាទន្សាយងាប់ ក៏រើសយកទន្សាយដាក់ក្នុងរទេះ ទើបបន្តដំណើរ។

មួយស្របក់ក្រោយ ខ្លាឃ្មុំបានមកដល់ដីទួលមួយ។ ផ្ទះរបស់ខ្លាឃ្មុំស្ថិតនៅលើដីទួលនោះ។ ដើមី្បឡើងទៅបាន ខ្លាឃ្មុំត្រូវប្តូរពីរុញទៅជាអូសរទេះវិញ។ ឆ្លៀតឱកាសនោះ ទន្សាយបានលួចស៊ីទំពាំងបាយជូររហូតទាល់តែអស់ រួចប្រញាប់លោតចុះពីរទេះ ហើយបោលទៅចូលព្រៃបាត់។

ពេលឡើងដល់លើទួលហើយ, ខ្លាឃ្មុំងាកមក ឃើញនៅក្នុងរទេះសល់តែទង និងស្លឹក បាត់ផ្លែទំពាំងបាយជូរ និងសត្វទន្សាយ។ ពេលនោះ ខ្លាឃ្មុំភ្ញាក់ខ្លួនព្រើត៖

«យី! អញចាញ់បោកទន្សាយនេះទេតើ៕»

Story ‘Bear and Hare’

original story : Old woman and the hare

There was a bear pushing a cart full of grapes.

In the woods, there was a hare looking for food. It saw the bear carrying grapes. It wanted to eat the grapes. It ran to pretend to be dead in the middle of the path. When the bear arrived, he saw the hare lying, he thought it was dead, so he picked it up and put it in the cart then continued walking.

Later on, the bear arrived at a hill. His house was on top of the hill. To get up, he had to change from pushing to pulling the cart. Taking that opportunity, the hare ate all the grapes then quickly jumped out of the cart and disappeared into the wood.

When the bear reached the top of the hill, he turned around. He found only the stems and leaves remained, but the grape fruits were lost and the hare was lost too. 

At that time, the bear awoke, “Oh my, I was cheated by that hare.”
